Fox has ordered two more installments — Numbers 17 and 18 — of Gordon Ramsay’s unscripted stalwart Hell’s Kitchen, in which aspiring restaurateurs are put through an intense culinary academy — and Ramsay’s wrath — to prove they have the endurance and skill to compete and win a grand prize.

Plot summary
Gordon Ramsay is a world famous three-star cook with countless award-winning restaurants. And when the maître in the new DMAX series "Gordon Ramsay's hell kitchen" tests amateurs for fitness, he mutates to the kitchen Lucifer. The competitors are boldly challenging their culinary challenges and have their goal firmly in mind: Cook the others to the wall! After all, the best hobby chef is allowed to open his own restaurant. Until then, however, the up-and-coming restaurateurs will suffer hell when the former Glasgow pro footballer tears their cooking attempts in the air. With great time pressure, the beginners have to conjure up entire menus and prove a lot of creativity and perseverance. Who smiles, flies in high bow from the hell kitchen.
Hell’s Kitchen is the best I look forward to it every season. It is the only reality show that you have to do your best to win. The others bring out the lairs and cheaters. The more you lie and cheat the better chance you have to win. Gordon Ramsay puts these cooks in place and makes them perform. Anyone that doesn’t like this show can change the channel and let the rest of America that wants to enjoy this show enjoy it. I would like to thank FOX now for the next 2 seasons I am sure they will be great.
As the competition progresses, the number of contestants will be whittled down until only two chefs are left to compete for the ultimate prize, a Head Chef position at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and fulfill their dreams of working in the culinary industry as the winner of Hell's Kitchen.

There has been a decline, but I’d put them both down as likely to be renewed. Both are through Universal, About a Boy has good reviews, and they are still pretty highly rated. Granted, a lot can change, but I think Greenblatt just wants to renew something at this point.
Country Music Television and a yelling, egomaniac brit cooking competition show. I get the connection LOL.
I feel that it’s early enough into these shows, that you’ll see people trying to decide if they like AAB and GUF. The ratings aren’t great when you consider there lead-in (The Voice). And I personally do not feel that there is enough content in AAB to warrant another season (there can only be so much bonding between the guy and his neighbor’s kid before it starts to trend on familiar grounds).
But knowing NBC, they’ll renew Community for another short season, and renew AAB just because.
