But by the end of Battle Tendency, the guys literally battled the pinnacle of evolution. Plus Hamon couldn’t create much diverse and interesting battles. Of course, I don’t think any of the Stand battles single-handedly can ‘stand’ against Joeseph vs Esidisi or Joeseph vs Wamuu, (the two battles I enjoyed the most in JoJo), but collectively the diversified and varied powers of Stands make it easy to write creative and complex battles, while not escalating the power level too high. (Excluding *SPOILER FOR FUTURE STAND NAMES* Gold Experience Requiem, King Crimson, Made In Heaven and whatever the hell else can manipulate spacetime or OHK or such.) But most of them allow for creative battles without shit hitting the fan.
i actually cancelled a date with a guy that i had scheduled on friday just so i could watch the new episode… gotta get those priorities straight amirite
