Orange Is The New Black season 5

Orange Is the New Black (often abridged by OITNB) is a US-American denim series by Jenji Kohan, which has been released since July 2013 in the US by Netflix. The series is based on the book Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison by Piper Kerman. In Germany the series has also been accessible via Netflix since 16 September 2014. At the beginning of February 2016, the series was extended by three more seasons so that it will remain on air until 2019 at the latest.

Release date

Before the start of the fourth season, Netflix extended the series by a fifth, sixth and seventh season at the beginning of February 2016, which will keep the show on air until 2019. New series Orange Is The New Black season 5 expected releae date - June 9, 2017.

I'm only on episode 9, but the season definitely got better as it went. The first few episodes seemed super random, even though it still felt like the same show with its quirky humor and emotional moments. As of where i'm at now, Lolly's backstory was the most soul crushing for me. We've seen her as this paranoid weirdo, but actually seeing how her life went and how she got arrested broke my heart. I just wanted to reach into my tv and give her the biggest hug ever. I'm attempting to not ruin the rest of the season for myself, but I'm ready for whatever crazy intensity this show throws at us!

For all you piper haters, know that piper rarely makes an appearance in this season and even though you may hate her, you are going to miss her the most cause of the bad narrative through this season.

The only reason you're saying that is because you haven't seen the season yet. Each and every episode contains everyone crying about poussey over and over (gets annoying and overshadows the emotional depth of her death), most focused characters are taystee and the metheads and side charaters that.

I love how all the fans who didn't watch the leaked episodes for some reason think they are soooo much better than those of us who did watch them. Like they're so special. Like they're saints or some shit and think they're more "respectful." It's not like those of us who did watch leaked the episodes. There's nothing wrong with us wanting the watch leaked episodes of our favorite show a month early.

I know i'm a terrible person but i was so excited when the episodes leaked i watched them all in a day (i will still watch it over and over and over on netflix when it comes out like i have with previous episodes!) and then i realized it was only the first 10 episodes that leaked and now i'm going more crazy waiting for the rest on netflix and wish i hadn't watched them yet.

To those cool kids watching this trailer who haven't seen Orange is the new black season 1-4 who are too "cool" for such a drama female series. I was once a cool kid who didn't want to watch a drama female series. I've seen season 1-4. I'm now a cooler kid who watches a drama female series.

Diaya shoots Humphry in the leg but Humphry survives until Crazy eyes GF sabotaged the equipment and turned him into a vegetable. He's found dead in episode 10 when Crazy eyes GF is found shanked in the bathroom and passes away in the medic room. Can't wait!

It got better and better, highlights were Crazy Eyes and her girlfriend, Lollypop and the dead guard (Healy's face when he realised Lollypop had told him the truth!), Caputo's story was good too. I do wish though King and Chapman would have had atleast 1 scene together though, disappointed about that. Oh and Maritas background was well done. Overall I was a great season, not as good as the earlier ones, but still very good.
