Unsure if they’ll ever do a 2nd season, I watched this yrs ago on crunchyroll, n I do mean yrs, I want to say possibly 6 maybe more. I really luv it, my best advice is to find the manga on a free reader site.
I don’t particularly recommend this anime, it was a waste of time for me. The ending of the season 1 is most inconclusive, they touched lots of topic but there is no explanation at all. If you watched this anime you are going to end up with holes in your mind with nothing to fill them.
I remember crying so much over this anime. One moment i was laughing out loud the next moment i was weeping omg i fucking love this anime and the osts are so good
It raises more questions than it answers. It’s cool if they want to teach some sort of lesson like the parables of old but it actually needs to be interesting first. The whole thing felt like some prologue to the real story. Which is fine…a lot of shows are used to promote games or manga. Still, they should be somewhat self contained. They could have gutted half the episodes and had it run as a 13 ep series for as little actual content they included. Not even going into the reincarnated friend or the unnecessary romantic tones seeded throughout.
After all that though, I’m aware we all have our personal opinions and I’m not saying yours is wrong. Mine is just a different perspective. I’m probably not the target demographic and don’t have the luxury of having the nostalgia of looking back on it. Just some random dude who’s read/watched a ton of different stuff over the years and has become immune to the majority of the tropes/stereotypes these shows contain. No story is original anymore but that doesn’t mean it can’t be well told…
